How to Link/Unlink Your CapCut Account to an Email Address?

✅ CapCut Mobile App (iOS / Android)

To Link an Email:

1. Open the CapCut app.

2. Tap the gear icon (⚙️) in the top-right corner to open Settings.

1. Select "Manage Account".

1. Enter a valid email address.

1. Check your inbox for a verification code from CapCut and enter the code in the app to complete the linking.

To Unlink or Change Your Email:

• CapCut requires at least one active login method at all times.
• If email is your only login method, you must first add another (e.g., phone number, Apple, Google, or TikTok) before removing it.
• Once an alternative is active:
  • a. Go back to "Manage Account".
  • b. Tap "Email" to verify or unlink the account.

      c. Confirm with password or verification as prompted.

📍 Note: You cannot unlink your email if it's the sole way to access your account. Always ensure a backup login method is in place.

❌ CapCut Desktop (Windows / macOS)

Please note that some account functions are limited on the desktop version:

• Cannot link or unlink email.
• You can view your account email (if already linked via mobile), but no editing options are available.
• All account security changes must be done in the mobile app.

Please note that account management options are limited to the web version:

• Does not support email linking/unlinking.
• The website may show your current email, but any attempt to manage login methods will redirect you to use the CapCut mobile app.
