Open Homepage > AI Video on CapCut Desktop, then select the creation mode that fits your needs: Image to video, Omni reference, or Text to video. For Omni reference, make sure you are using version 840 or above. Text-to-video and image-to-video are available on all versions.

Click the + button to import images or videos. Eligible creatives will be added automatically, while files that exceed the creative limit cannot be imported. If a video is longer than the supported duration, it will enter the lightweight trimmer so you can cut it down to 15 seconds or less. Then enter a prompt if needed, or use @reference element to specify what the model should follow.
Step 3: Adjust Settings and Generate
