Yes—CapCut Teams subscriptions are designed to be flexible and scalable. You can add more seats (team members) at any time during your active subscription period, and you'll only be charged a prorated fee for the additional seats based on the remaining time in your billing cycle.
However, seat management (including adding, removing, or adjusting licenses) is only available in the Team Owner Edition.
Follow the Steps Below to Expand Your Seating Capacity
- Step 1: Go to CapCut Online or download CapCut.
- Step 2: Sign in with your Team Admin account.
- Step 3: Click your profile and choose "Team Settings".
- Step 4: Under the member list, you'll see your current seat count (e.g., 5/10 used).
- Step 5: Click "Add Seats", enter the number of additional members you need (e.g., +3 seats).
- Step 6: Review the prorated charge (calculated from today until your next renewal date).
- Step 7: Confirm payment—new seats are activated immediately.
- Step 8: Invite new members via email or shareable link; they gain full Teams benefits right away.
📍 Note: You can increase seats multiple times during a subscription. Downgrading (reducing seats) is only allowed at renewal.
