We've recently updated our AI effects and templates, whcih may cause some templates to be temporarily or permanently unavailable.
Why This Happens
We've recently adjusted our AI effects and templates as part of ongoing technical upgrades and AI model improvements. As a result, some AI effect templates may no longer be available.
In most cases, we only remove or hide templates that:
- Have very low usage;
- Show performance or stability issues;
- Are no longer compatible with updated AI models.
We make these changes carefully to minimize the impact on creators and to ensure a better overall experience.

We understand it can be frustrating not to see an effect you previously created. Please rest assured that these adjustments are made to improve quality, performance, and long-term creative possibilities on CapCut.
At the same time, we regularly recommend new AI templates that reflect our latest capabilities — which may offer even more creative potential.

Troubleshooting

- I can't find my AI effect template.
Update your CapCut app to the latest version. New AI effects and templates are only supported on newer versions of the app.

- My template was visible before but disappeared.
Make sure you're logged in with the same account you used to create it. Templates won't appear if you're signed in with a different account.

- Templates aren't loading properly.
Restart the app and open the template library again. This can help refresh content that didn't load correctly.

- I still can't see the template.
Try accessing it from a different device if possible. This helps confirm whether the issue is device-related.
