If your exported video looks different from what you see in the CapCut editor, it is usually related to export settings or preview optimization features. Don't worry—this can be fixed with a few adjustments. 📍 If the issue continues, please contact our support team for further assistance. Try the following steps:

Table of content
  1. Set a custom bit rate when exporting
  2. Turn off Proxy in CapCut PC

Set a custom bit rate when exporting

Go to Export → set Bit rate to Custom → enter a suitable value in Kbps.

A higher bit rate will help preserve better image quality in the final video.

Increase video quality in export settings

Turn off Proxy in CapCut PC

Open CapCut PC → go to Menu > SettingsPerformance → turn off Proxy.

Proxy is designed to improve playback performance, but it may lower the preview quality and make the video look worse than the final export.

Turn off proxy in CapCut

After making these changes, try exporting again. This should help ensure your final video quality matches what you see in the editor.
