Template loading speed is primarily affected by your internet connection and device performance. Usually, switching your network or clearing temporary data can resolve this issue quickly.
Please try the following steps:
1. Switch Your Network Connection
Please make sure you have the latest version of the CapCut app installed. Older versions may not support newer templates or may have loading issues.
- Since templates need to be downloaded from the server, a slow or unstable connection is the most common cause of delays.
- Toggle Networks: Try switching from Wi-Fi to Mobile Data (4G/5G), or switch from Mobile Data back to Wi-Fi.
- Check Wi-Fi Quality: If the current Wi-Fi is slow, try connecting to a different network.
- Refresh Signal: Turn Airplane mode on and off to refresh your network signal.
2. Clear Cache and Close Background Apps
Too many apps running in the background can slow down your phone, and a full cache can clog the app.
- Close Background Apps: Swipe away other apps running in the background to free up RAM.
- Clear App Cache: Go to your phone settings or app settings and clear the temporary cache files for CapCut.
3. Restart the App or Device
A simple restart can often fix temporary glitches.
- Force Close: Completely close CapCut from the background and reopen it.
- Restart: If the issue persists, restart your phone or tablet.
4. Update the CapCut App
Older versions of the app may have performance bugs or compatibility issues with new templates.
Go to the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
- 1
- Search for "CapCut". 2
- Tap "Update" if an update is available.
📍 Important: When updating, do not uninstall the app first. Uninstalling may result in the loss of your local drafts and unfinished projects.
If you have tried all of the above and the template is still loading slowly, please ensure that your internet bandwidth is not being used by other high-data activities (like large downloads or 4K streaming) on the same network.
