If you are using CapCut Online:
- Browsing: If you are trying to browse or use a Remake template that says "Under Review," it means that specific template has not passed the quality check to be listed in the public template library.
- Your Content: If it is your own upload, the same rules apply as above—the system is validating the content.
Desktop App (Windows / macOS)
The status on the desktop version mirrors the mobile experience:
- Visibility: If the video shows "Under Review" in the library, it means it has not yet been approved for public distribution via the CapCut ecosystem.
- Sharing: You will not be able to generate a shareable link for the Remake while it is in this state.
📍 Tip: This review is specifically for the Remake template popularity and quality. It does not affect the video if you have exported it to your camera roll.
Mobile App (iOS / Android)
If you see "Under Review" on your mobile device:
- Status Meaning: Your video has been successfully uploaded, but the system is currently analyzing it for compliance (e.g., no copyright violations, appropriate content).
- Functionality: While under review, the video may be temporarily unavailable for other users to view, like, or share.
- Duration: This process is usually quick, but complex videos or high server traffic can cause delays.
- Action: Please wait patiently. Do not delete and re-upload, as this will reset the review queue.
Important Clarification: Remake vs. Export
It is important to distinguish between a Remake Template and an Exported Video:
- Remake Template (Under Review): This refers to the project being listed in CapCut's template library for others to use. If unselected, it may remain under review or be removed from public browsing to maintain high quality.
- Exported Video: If you have exported your video to post on TikTok or other social media, it is not affected by this review status. Users can still enjoy your exported content even while the "Remake" version is being reviewed.
