If you're the original producer—or a user trying to use a template—you can verify its paid status through clear visual indicators and export behavior. How to Confirm the Template Status Online:

- Log in and navigate to "My Templates".

- Paid templates display a purple "Pro" badge on the thumbnail.
- On the template detail page, you'll also see: "This is a Pro template. CapCut Pro required for watermark-free export."

- Open the template in the editor, make any edit (even none), and click Export.
- The export panel will show:
- "Paid Template" label,
- A watermark will still appear when using this template here.
- Again, this applies to the original creator too—ownership doesn't grant free export once monetized.
