CapCut currently does not support editing multiple drafts within a single project. However, you can continue working on a previous project by exporting it and then importing it into your current project.
How to Import A Previous Project
To use content from a previous project in your current one, you can follow the same steps on CapCut Online, Desktop, or Mobile:

- Open your previous project in CapCut. 2
- Export the project in full to your device. 3
- Open your current project. 4
- Import the exported video file into the project and continue editing.
Important Notes
- CapCut currently does not support cross-draft editing or directly importing one project file into another.
- Once a project is exported, it is treated as a video file when imported into another project. Individual layers, effects, or tracks cannot be edited separately after import.
