Currently, CapCut does not support direct importing or exporting of project files from third-party editing software, including Adobe Premiere Pro. As a result, project files from Premiere Pro (such as .prproj files) cannot be directly opened, converted, or transferred into CapCut for further editing.
📍 If you require assistance regarding this limitation, please feel free to contact our support team for personalized help.
Since direct project transfer is unavailable, we recommend the following approaches to move your content from Premiere Pro into CapCut:
1. Export as a Rendered Video File
- Complete your edit in Premiere Pro.
- Export your sequence as a standard, high-quality video file (e.g., MP4, MOV, or AVI).
- Import this rendered video file into CapCut. You can then use it as a base layer for further edits, add new effects, text, or music directly within CapCut.
2. Recreate the Project in CapCut
- Save your original media files (video clips, audio tracks, images) in an accessible location.
- Start a new project in CapCut and import these original files.
- Rebuild your timeline and reapply edits, transitions, and effects within CapCut. While this requires manual effort, it allows you to utilize CapCut's full suite of native tools and templates.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this limitation may cause. Our team is dedicated to improving CapCut's compatibility, and your feedback is invaluable in helping us prioritize new features. We are actively working to expand workflow support in future updates.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
