How to Calculate the Validity Period of Subscription Credits?

Subscription credits in CapCut are tied directly to your Pro billing cycle, not to calendar months.

Subscription credits in CapCut are tied directly to your Pro billing cycle, not to calendar months. Their validity always spans exactly one full subscription period, starting from the day your Pro plan activates or renews and ending one day before the next renewal date.

The calculation follows this rule:

📍 Validity Period = [Subscription Start/Renewal Date] → [Next Billing Date – 1 second]

For example:

▪️ If your Pro plan starts on March 5, 2026, your subscription credits are granted on that day and expire at 23:59:59 UTC on April 4, 2026 (for a monthly plan).

▪️ For an annual plan starting March 5, 2026, credits expire on March 4, 2027, at 23:59:59 UTC.

This logic applies universally—but only the Web platform displays the exact dates clearly. Below is how you can verify or infer the validity period on each platform:

Table of content
  1. CapCut Web (CapCut Online)
  2. CapCut Desktop (Windows / macOS)
  3. CapCut Mobile App (iOS / Android)

CapCut Web (CapCut Online)

Only Platform with Explicit Expiry Details

  • Step 1: Go to CapCut Online and sign in.
  • Step 2: Click your profile icon → "Credits".
Check the points
  • Step 3: Under "Subscription Credits", you'll see:

   "Allocated on: [Date]"

"Expires on: [Date + billing cycle – 1 day]"

A progress bar showing usage vs. total for the current cycle.

  • Step 4: Hover over the expiry date to see the exact time (e.g., "Apr 4, 2026, 23:59 UTC").
  • Step 5: If you have multiple overlapping subscriptions (e.g., due to plan changes), each credit batch shows its own validity window.

📍 Note: Web calculates and displays the end-of-cycle timestamp automatically based on your payment receipt and billing history.

CapCut Desktop (Windows / macOS)

  • Step 1: Open CapCut Desktop (v6.0+) and log in with your Pro account.
  • Step 2: Use any AI feature that consumes subscription credits (e.g., "AI Generate Image").
  • Step 3: Before execution, a tooltip may appear: "X subscription credits will be used. Valid until [approximate date]."

This date is derived from your account's renewal schedule but lacks a precise time.

  • Step 4: The app does not show historical or future credit cycles—only the current active one.
  • Step 5: No dedicated interface exists to view expiry; you must rely on prompts during usage.

📍 Important: Desktop reflects real-time validity but offers no proactive dashboard for planning.

CapCut Mobile App (iOS / Android)

No Direct Display of Subscription Credit Expiry

  • Step 1: Open the CapCut mobile app (v11.7.0+).
  • Step 2: Go to "Me" → "Credits".
  • Step 3: You'll see only a total usable credit count—subscription credits are merged into this number without labels or dates.
  • Step 4: When using an AI tool, the system deducts from available credits but never states when subscription credits expire.
  • Step 5: No setting, tooltip, or notification reveals the validity period of subscription credits on mobile.

📍 Clarification: Mobile assumes users manage billing on Web. It provides zero visibility into subscription credit timelines.

For accurate planning—especially near renewal dates—always check your credit details on CapCut Web.
