To allow users to modify the number of clips (segments) in a CapCut template, you need to enable the Flexible clip number setting. This option makes your template more adaptable, allowing others to add or remove clips while keeping the overall structure and effects intact.
You can enable this setting either during template publishing or after the template has already been published, depending on your workflow. The steps differ slightly across Web, Mobile, and PC (Desktop) platforms.

Why Enable Flexible Clip Number?
Enabling Flexible clip number allows your template to adapt to different content needs. Users can insert more clips or remove existing ones without breaking transitions, effects, or the overall design. This makes your template more reusable, more creator-friendly, and more appealing to the CapCut community.
