If your cloud storage capacity on CapCut Web displays as 1KB, this is related to recent updates to our cloud storage policy. The free quota for newly created cloud storage spaces has been adjusted to 0GB. As a result, new spaces no longer include complimentary storage capacity, which may appear in the system as a minimal placeholder value such as 1KB.
📍 If you have questions about your storage display, subscription options, or collaboration features, please contact our support team. We're always here to assist you.
What Happens to Previously Stored Files?
If you had already stored assets in your cloud space before this adjustment, don't worry—your existing files are not deleted. You can still view and download previously uploaded content as usual. However, without an upgraded storage plan, you will not be able to upload new files beyond the free limit.
If you require additional storage for ongoing projects, you may upgrade to one of our available storage or subscription plans to expand your cloud capacity.
Updates to Team Collaboration
Along with the storage adjustment, we have also updated the team collaboration feature. In newly created spaces, you can invite up to 1 member for free collaboration. If you need to collaborate with more team members, you can upgrade to the Teams Plan, which supports inviting additional members and provides enhanced collaboration tools.
Why Were These Changes Made?
These updates are part of our effort to optimize services, improve platform sustainability, and continue delivering high-quality creative tools. We understand that changes to storage policies may affect your workflow, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding.
