If you're unable to join a group or team in CapCut, the issue may be caused by system resource limitations, network instability, outdated software, or regional restrictions. These factors can prevent invitations from loading correctly or block access to shared Cloud spaces. Try the following solutions to fix it.
📍 If you need further assistance, please contact our support team.
Close Other Applications
Running multiple memory-intensive programs at the same time can affect CapCut's performance. Closing unnecessary background applications frees up system resources and helps CapCut run more smoothly, which may resolve issues related to joining groups.
Check Your Network Connection
A stable internet connection is essential for group invitations and collaboration features. Try switching between Wi-Fi and a mobile hotspot, or connect to a different network if possible. This can help rule out network-related problems.
Update CapCut to the Latest Version
Using an outdated version of CapCut may lead to compatibility issues with team and group features. Go to Settings → Version → Check for updates, or click "You're up to date" in the top-right corner to ensure you're on the latest version.
📍 Important: Do not uninstall CapCut during the update process to avoid affecting your local projects.
Restart Your Device
Restarting your device refreshes system processes and clears temporary glitches that may interfere with collaboration features. After restarting, open CapCut and try joining the group again.
Be Aware of Regional Limitations
Due to regional data policies, some cross-region collaboration and invitation features may be temporarily unavailable. This means certain users may not be able to access shared Cloud spaces or join groups created in other regions.
Submit Feedback if the Issue Persists
If you still cannot join the group after trying the steps above, click Feedback in CapCut and submit details of the issue along with screenshots or screen recordings. This helps the team investigate further.
