If you notice that some paid features are free on the iPad version of CapCut but not on the regular mobile or PC app, the reason is that CapCut for iPad is currently in Beta. This version is newly launched and designed to deliver a more advanced editing experience specifically for iPad users.
If you still have questions about feature differences between versions, please contact our support team for assistance.
What Makes the iPad Version Different?
The iPad version is still under development, and CapCut is actively improving its performance, features, and usability. To support this process, selected premium features are offered as a limited-time free trial, allowing users to explore and test them before the full release.
Why Doesn't This Apply to Other Platforms?
The standard CapCut app (on mobile and PC) is already a fully released and stable product, so its pricing and subscription model are already established. This is why premium features on those platforms still require a Pro subscription, while the iPad version temporarily offers free access during testing.
Will the iPad Version Stay Free?
Not necessarily. Since this is part of a Beta testing phase, free access to premium features is temporary. As the product matures, CapCut may introduce updated subscription plans and align pricing across platforms.
