Currently, when you add text using Text → Add text or Captions → Add captions in the video editing interface, CapCut does not support batch editing for text position, style, or size. This means you can't change multiple text layers at once using a single setting. 📍 If you need more help, feel free to contact our support team. However, you can still speed up your workflow with these methods:
1. Duplicate a Pre-Styled Text
This is the fastest way to keep all text consistent.
- Create a new text layer.
- Set the font, style, size, color, and position as you want.
- Select the text on the timeline and use copy and paste to duplicate it.
- Edit only the text content of each duplicated layer.
This way, all your text keeps the same format without re-adjusting settings.
2. Split One Text Into Multiple Paragraphs
You can edit multiple lines without resetting styles.
- Create a new text and apply your preferred style and position.
- Enter all your content.
- Use Split to divide the text into several paragraphs.
Each split text keeps the same attributes, saving you from reformatting.
3. Use Captions to Create Multiple Texts at Once
You can generate several text layers in one step.
- Tap Captions → Add captions.
- Enter or apply your text.
- Tap Next.
- Choose Split to batch-create multiple text layers.
This helps you quickly generate multiple captions with consistent styling.
Although true batch editing is not supported yet, these methods can greatly improve your text editing efficiency.
